1944 Visit to the Miao Area
In Guilin, it was recorded that Huang Yao’s artworks were published, including cartoons, sketches, propaganda artwork and sketches of his ‘Visit to the Miao Area’, there is mention of specially commissioned Niu Bizi cartoons that appeared in ‘Travel Magazine’ and Saodang News.
Note : Huang Yao also published, ‘Guilin Cartoons’ and ‘Kunming Cartoons’. Apart from ‘Visit to the Miao Area’, up till today, the other cartoons have not been found.
